Professional Summary
I am a 2019 graduate of the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy with direct and research experience, especially in the Middle East and Afghanistan, and particularly in the fields of extremism, governance, human rights, and monitoring, evaluation, and analysis.

In my current position at the Special Investigator General for Afghanistan Reconstruction, I analyze waste, abuse, and fraud in taxpayer spending on humanitarian projects in Afghanistan. This involves in-depth interviewing of officials at the Department of State, USAID, and various additional federal bureaus. I also investigate the financial and procedural documents of such agencies for inconsistencies and irregularities in addition to general adherence to US and international rules and regulations regarding association with and financing of sanctioned groups. These culminate in reports for Congress and the general public that I have written as part of a small team, which is currently focusing on the risk analysis for programs operating since the Taliban takeover.
More broadly, my research background includes primary, secondary, and open source. Several of my papers written at Fletcher have been published in the book Marketing Terrorism: The Continental Fear from Middle East to Asia & Africa as well as by the think tank Islamic Theology of Counter-Terrorism.
In 2016, I joined a Yazidi nonprofit to assist with research, writing, and editing, and worked on location near Mosul. I also aided local staff in addressing a UN audit of financial assistance programs. While in Iraq, I worked directly with the displaced Yazidi community, both teaching volunteers about working with children with trauma and aiding women who had escaped ISIS captivity with the NGO Yuva, with whom I volunteer to this day.

Looking forward, I would particularly like to apply my research, writing, and analysis skills to conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis and produce short- and long-form research exploring a diverse host of geopolitical topics.
